A great project for anyone new to stranded colour-work knitting! This pattern is worked bottom-up, in the round. It can be worked either using a seamless method such as Judy’s Magic cast-on or the Turkish cast-on, or a seamed version using a simple long-tail or knitted cast-on. 2 sizes are available, the smaller one is worked in DK weight yarn and the larger in Aran weight.

Sizes:
1L - approx 7.75”w x 8.5h excluding neck
2L - approx 8.75”w x 10”h excluding neck

Yarn:
3 Colours DK weight (for 1L) or Aran weight (for 2L) yarn approx:
A: 50m
B: 50m
C: 15m

Gauge:
1L (DK): 23 sts & 30 rows = 4”
2L (Aran): 20 sts x 28 rows = 4”
in stockinette stitch on larger needle

Needles:
1L/DK weight:4.5mm and 4mm
2L/Aran weight: 5mm and 4.5mm
circular needles, 16” long or 32” if using magic loop method (or size needed to obtain gauge), short circulars, DPNs or magic loop method will be needed for cuff in smaller needle.
