These winter themed mittens remind me of Russian fairy-tales in which events happen to people or animals in winter. The story is usually whimsical and entertaining and, of course, magical :)

Materials
• US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method); US size 00 (1.75mm) for ribbing (optional)
• Fingering weight yarn - 231y/50 g (211m/50g). About 230 yards: BC - 120y, CC - 110y.
