This little wreath is crocheted in the round using wire, beads and the wire crochet technique; the wreath can then be embellished with a ribbon bow, or any other embellishments of your choice.

If you would like to use your wreath as a Christmas tree ornament, I suggest using a purchased wire hanger for hanging it, although you could crochet a hanger for it if you prefer.

Alternately, you could use this piece as a pendant, brooch or other component for jewelry making, or as an embellishment for headbands, barrettes or other hair accessories.

This design is similar to a Christmas crochet wreath ornament I designed for crocheting with yarn or thread, but this pattern has been modified and simplified considerably. Obviously, the wire version of the pattern is stiffer, which is nice because you don’t have to hassle with starching or gluing it to make it sufficiently rigid for use as an ornament.

My patterns are not all included in Ravelry’s pattern database; so if you would like to find my latest patterns, tutorials, and articles, I recommend checking the news section of my website.

Thank you so much for your interest in my work. I really appreciate it.
