This lovely pattern is re-worked from a 1932 design, originally published in Woman and Home magazine.

From the original pattern notes: “A real summer jumper at last! It is made with airy-fairy wings on the shoulders which just float away from the arm with every movement suggesting coolness and lightness itself.”

**** ERRATA ****

Errata for the back are as follows:

After armhole shaping the pattern should read:

Once armhole shaping completed, work straight until back measures same as front to shoulder, ending with a WS row. Cast off all sts.

THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY SHAPING AT THE TOP OF THE BACK.

The sash should be worked in rib.
