Wollmuschi sweater
This cosy all-around sweater is a great extension to your wardrobe. It is designed as the perfect lazy Sunday sweater that makes you feel comfortable and gives you warmth and cosines. For it’s wider fit, you can wear it over any dress and it looks great with a pair of jeans as well.
It is knit bottom up in the round mainly on needle size 5,5 mm (US 9), which makes it a really quick and easy project. Three threads of yarn are held together most of the time.
Special attention has been paid to the design of the collar which will fit perfectly around your neck.
FINISHED SIZES
European size guide (S-M-L) XL-XXL-3XL Bust circumference with positive easy of 25-30 cm/ 10-12” included: (110-120-130) 140-150-160 cm/ (43-47-51) 55-59-63”. Sweater shown in size L with positive ease of 30 cm/12” according to size.
YARN
Main Yarn (A): (3-4-4) 5-5-6 skeins of Cash Queen by Wollmuschi HD; 70% superfine merino - 20% silk - 10% cashmere (400 m/100g), shown in colorway Nude
Yarn (B): (2-3-3) 3-4-4 skeins of Kidsilk by Wollmuschi HD, 30% silk -70% mohair (420 m/50 g), shown in colorway Nude
NEEDLES
All needles should be circular needles 80-100 cm (36-60”) or DPN for sleeves.
Main: 5,5 mm (US 9)
Collar: 5 mm (US 8) and 4,5 mm (US 7)
Sleeves: 4 mm (US 6)
GAUGE
17 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) rows in Stockinette Stitch on needle 5,5 mm (US 9) with yarn AAB (three strings of yarn) held together after blocking.
22 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) rows in Stockinette Stitch on needle 4 mm (US 6) with yarn AB (two strings of yarn) held together
after blocking.
