Wonderland Socks use simple techniques that have a big impact. A broken stockinette panels start in the ribbing and run down the entire length of the foot. On both sides of the broken stockinette panels, there are seed stitch diamonds that create a beautiful motif and give the sock lots of texture.

This pattern was designed in collaboration with Harbor Fibres who is an extremely talented Maine dyer. I gave her an inspiration photo from my favorite walking trail in Maine, Wonderland Trail and she came up with this beautiful color that shows texture and stitches definition amazingly.

Sizing

Choose the size that gives you 1-2” of negative ease.
Sizing is based on the circumference of the foot, not the length. To figure out the length of foot you need to knit, use the row gauge to calculate the number of rounds you will need to knit for your foot size subtracting 1.25”(1.25”,1.5”) for the toe, or try your sock on as you go!

S(M,L) – Circumference 8-9”(9-10”, 10-11”)
