This is a PDF Crochet/Amigurumi Pattern for a cute red bellied woodpecker plushie who is also a lumberjack! All of his accessories are removable:

• a ribbed beanie designed with a no-bump top and a seamless join,
• a versatile flannel shirt that can be made in different styles: collared with buttons or without a collar and buttons, offering four unique shirt variations.
• an axe which our bird can hold in his wing,
• a chainsaw that can be carried on the back or worn crossbody. You can take them off and put them on in different ways.

Plushie may look a little complicated or intimidating but pattern is written for beginners, with a lot of pictures and detailed instructions of every step. I’ve also included tips and tricks that you can use in other projects (like clean color change, invisible increase, invisible decrease, seamless color change - I’m very proud of that one - and more!) so this can be a great project/pattern to improve crochet skills.
