I used about 60 grams worsted weight yarn.
Size 6, 16 inch circular needle for band
Size 7, 16 inch circular needle for body of hat
Size 7 double-point or additional circular needle for crown of hat
stitch markers, one to mark the beginning of the round, others for the crown.
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.

I made the mistake of using a size 7 needle for the band, it is a bit loose so I suggest using the size 6 needle for the ribbing.

Fixed a mistake found it the pattern. It should read
Repeat rows 1 - 8, 4 more times
Repeat rows 1 - 7 once more, you will have a total of 6 repeats. (Minus the last row 8 knit round)
