XO Sox glory luxurious, simple yarn with just a little bit of twist!

Mini cable stitch lines give the socks some geometric detail but they hold a message too: XOXO. Can you see it? If you want to send some love to your closest ones, these are a perfect way to do it with style.

The socks are worked from the toe up. On the top side you follow a clear chart that is made only of stockinette stitch and crossing stitches in 2 directions. That’s it.

The heel is made with flap but there’s no picking up the stitches, yay!

After the heel you continue working the pattern only on the front side. On back side there’s only simple stockinette stitch.

The pattern is written for lighter (approx. 400-425 m/ 100 g, 437-464 yd/3,5 oz) and heavier sock yarn (approx. 350 m/100 g, 382 yd/3,5 oz). If you want smaller socks, work with lighter yarn using heavy yarn stitch number.

The pattern is also written for both the magic loop method and DPN’s. The magic loop needles are called number 1 and 2. Needle number 1 corresponds to needles I and II in DPN’s, and needle number 2 needles III and IV in DPN’s.

The sizing is simple for both yarns: slim. If you have a wider leg, you can add some ribbing on the back side to make it more comfortable.
