These socks are lovely for both knitter and wearer. The xoxo cables form a hugs-and-kisses pattern (perfect on a knitted
gift for someone you love) and also, they appear the same when worked top-up or toe-down.

The pattern is written for top-down socks as an introduction to the simplified short-row heel-and-toe technique, which also works in either direction, so you can knit these socks from your preferred starting point. You can even get through the pair without having to graft a single stitch. (What’s not to love?)

Includes written instructions for cable pattern and how-to instructions plus photos for heel/toe technique.
