MATERIALS:

  • Yarns/ yardage: Any WW4 yarn: Each design varies however you will need between 135 and 145 yards total
  • Hooks: Use Size “I” (5.50 MM) hook
  • Hair tie for ponytail option (I use Goody Ouchless brand)
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
  • Scissors

NOTES:

  1. This pattern is written in US terms
  2. This pattern was written for the right handed crocheter
  3. This pattern includes 2 styles: Beanie and Messy bun/ high pony tail
  4. This pattern is written with the confident beginner in mind however I did rate this pattern at an intermediate level due to the configuration of the stitches (STITCHES INCLUDE: SC, DC, TR, BPDC, FPDC). If you have completed patterns that create cables then you can complete this pattern.
  5. Gauge: a. Using size “I” hook with WW4 yarn: 7 DC sts = 2”; 4 rows = 2”
  6. Chains at beginning of rows count in end of row stitch count
  7. Numbers in parentheses at end of rounds are your stitch counts for each round
  8. Stitches in brackets followed by an X and a number means to repeat the stitches within the brackets that number of times
  9. Wash finished product in luke-warm or cold water and tumble dry on low heat or lay out flat to dry
