This is a very simple pattern in garter stitch. It even fringes itself as you knit. Great for using up leftover bits in the stash. Use your imagination for colors in this poncho.

This pattern uses yarns from worsted to bulky. The sample was knit using 18 different yarns of various textures, all with the color pink in them. Most people, however, use 4 or 5 novelty yarns and a regular smooth yarn. Don’t be afraid to use double strands of thinner yarn like sport or fingering in this project.
