This is my first posted pattern - it’s free! Please be gentle with me as there are probably several blunders - I’ve tried my best. It is oversize, so that I can fit my hair, bundled up, underneath, and I like sloppy hats!

The stitch pattern is out there somewhere, but I just experimented and came up with it - I’m sure someone else came up with it eons ago!
