This triangular shawl is started at the narrow tip and increases as you go, alternating between background sections and increasingly longer ‘arrows’. The arrow fins are created by first knitting wedges using German Short Rows, then tucking them back in with a hybrid of a Three-Needle Bind off. The arrow tip is a ‘diamond’, a hybrid of the Indian Cross Stitch. This shawl uses 3 background colors, but you may use more or keep it to one color at your discretion.

Arrow Yarn: 375 yds / 343 m
Note: Make sure your arrow yarn is not a drapey yarn, as the fin of the arrow needs some structure to hold its shape.

Background Yarn: Color A: 375 yds / 343 m
Color B: 400 yds / 366 m
Color C: 250 yds / 229 m
