Zen is an idea that was floating around in my mind for some time. Once I charted it, I couldn’t stop. This design is non-gender specific, and it comprises easy colorwork repeats allowing for a zen-like peaceful experience for the knitter. It flows. It’s the perfect project for those new to stranding. Because you are knitting with a large needle, you will achieve a lovely drape in your fabric. Also, because the shawl is worked in wedges, it fits on the shoulders and stays put. I charted additional border rows for those who want a deeper accent edge. Knit it either way. Your choice. I enjoyed working this pattern so much that I also designed a hat, mitts, and socks, too!
