ABOUT THE DESIGN
Worked top-down and with minimal seaming, the Zephyr Cardigan is easy to try on as you make it, ensuring a customizable fit. It’s worked entirely flat which means you only need a Tunisian hook with a flexible cord to make it. The eyelet pattern is worked over a 3-row repeat making for an engaging yet meditative project.

SKILLS USED
You should know how to Tunisian crochet, read a Tunisian crochet pattern, be comfortable with the basic stitches, know how to count stitches, know how to count rows, and know how to sew buttons onto a project. All other stitches and techniques are explained in the pattern.

SIZING
This pattern comes with instructions for 9 sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) ranging from chest circumferences of 28-62 in 71-158 cm. The cardigan is intended to be worn with 5-7 in 12.5-18 cm of positive ease, but the size guide and measurements for the cardigan itself can be found within the pattern.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 1 strand of Drops Air
164 yds 150 m / 1.8 oz 50 g held with 1 strand of Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk
153 yds 140 m / 0.9 oz 25 g
(other suggested yarns include Hobbii Divina, Sandnes Garn Kos, or Viking Garn Alpaca Bris held with Valley Yarns Northampton, Friends Kid Silk or Drops Kid Silk, but a single strand of a bulky weight yarn could also work)
Hook: K/6.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook with a 22 in 56 cm cable for the smaller sizes / 30 in 75 cm cable for the larger sizes or any other hook needed to obtain the gauge and an I/5.5 mm regular crochet hook for the ribbing
Other: Stitch markers, darning needle, scissors, tape measure, 5 19-mm buttons and a matching thread
