A simple and comfortable hat with a textured zig-zag pattern. It holds its shape well, fits snugly, and is perfect for everyday wear during the cold season. The pattern can be knitted quickly and is suitable for confident beginners.

Sizes

For head circumference: 50–52 (54–56, 58–60) cm.
Head sizes – S, M, L.
The numbers in brackets correspond to sizes M and L.

Yarn

Yarn with a yardage of 160 m per 100 g.
I used Lana Grossa Cool Wool Cashmere – 90% Merino, 10% Cashmere, 160 m/50 g.
The project is worked holding two strands together.

You will need

• Circular needles size 3.0 mm and 3.5 mm, or other sizes needed to obtain the required gauge
• Stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round
• Tapestry needle for finishing

Gauge

18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4” x 4”) in Stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles after blocking.

Make sure to check your gauge before starting.
