Ziggy is a seamless hot water bottle cover worked in-the-round from the bottom-up, and features a bold, stranded colourwork motif. The pattern includes written instructions and a chart for the motif, and is suitable for confident beginner or intermediate knitters looking to improve their skill and learn new techniques. Perfect for using up scrappy, leftover yarn, Ziggy will keep you toasty through the colder months, and would make a great handmade gift for someone you love.

Construction
Stitches are cast on at the bottom and increased before beginning the stranded motif, which is worked on both sides of the cover. Half the stitches are then put on hold and new stitches cast on as the button-band is worked, stitches are decreased, and the folded ribbed neck is worked. Stitches on hold are then picked up and worked to create a short flap onto which the buttons are sewn in line with the buttonholes.
