These socks are inspired by the 8th house of the Zodiac - Scorpio. People born under this sign are said to be resourceful, powerful, and passionate.

Construction: This sock is worked top down & in the round with a short row heel.

3 sizes available 64 stitches, 72 stitches and 80 stitches.

The front of leg and instep consists of a 1x1 half twisted rib (knit stitches twisted). Within the rib a cabled diamond borders the constellation of your choice. The CC yarn is carried along the back of the work for this section. The back of leg and sole consists of stranded colorwork.

Due to the nature of the motif on the sole I provide a recipe on how to knit the sole for your specific foot length. If you find that your foot length cannot be represented by the charts in the pattern, please message me and I will most likely be able to chart it for you.

Supplemental charts for those that would like inverse color charts are provided in a separate PDF. You will not need all charts included with the pattern. Please scan through before printing the entire document

Yarn: I used Boss Kitty Cats Cradle for my sample sock in the colorways Soot and Window Flower. Any fingering weight sock yarn would be suitable for this pattern. I recommend a 100g skein of each color to ensure you have enough yarn.

Notes: With all of my patterns I am providing a recipe that you can use to make socks that you enjoy. I recommend a 2.25mm needle but ultimately you should use the needle that gets you the best fabric for you - and adapt the pattern to your gauge. if you have questions on this, please let me know.

There are a ton of charts included in this pattern, but you only need 3. you will have a choice between 3 leg charts, 12 constellation charts, and 12 sole charts.
