Zoe is knitted with natural wool and felted after finishing.

It’s knitted flat ( with 2 straight needles ), using the short row technique.
A perfect project for your first softy toy and to learn short rows.

Pattern is written for beginners with many photos and step by step instruction.

The size is approximately 20 cm x 25 cm ( 8 x 10 in ).

La Vall Worsted, Ovella Lab
Worsted weight - 140m / 100g ( 153 yds / 100g )
Yarn quantity:
Color 1 - 50g - body,
Color 2 - 50g - shell

Yarn weight and gauge are not critical for this project. You can use any wool yarn ( non-superwash is recomended ).
Using slightly smaller needles than usual is recommended to achieve a tighter fabric.

5 - 5.5 mm ( US 8-9 ) straight ( classic ) or circular needles

• Stuffing for toys
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers
• 2 safety eyes, 8–10 mm ( 3-3.5 in ) diameter
• 20 cm ( 8 in ) of black thread to embroider the nose
 Alternatively, eyes can be embroidered.
