Here’s a new twist on the old favorite yoked sweater. In these designs, the yoke is knitted first, working sideways and knitting the circle by means of short rowing. It’s not difficult, just different Have fun varying the looks by using different colorw while short rowing or using self patterning yarns. 2 gauges are provided in all patterns. 4 stitches/6 rows per inch works for bulky and most mid-gauge machines. 7 stitches/10 rows/inch works for standard gauge Jpanese 4.5mm machines and Passap/Superba/Orion 5mm machines. Any yarns that get the gauge may be used. Samples employed .75 cotton, Tamm Nordic, I Love This Yarn, Jaggerspun 2/8, Tamm 3 ply, 1/12 rayon/cotton used as an accent in the Rainbow Shadow pattern.
