Notes
four little farm friends, gathered into one bundle. :)
piggie, carrie the cow and henry the highland cow all share the same tiny body – once you’ve made one, the next one already feels familiar. what makes them different is everything around it: ears, horns, snouts, patches, a very questionable highland hairdo and a lot of personality.
and because one little chicken wandered into the farm too, pocket chicken is included as a free bonus, so the whole farm can stay together.
what’s inside
• piggie, carrie the cow and henry the highland cow – three full patterns
• pocket chicken – free bonus pattern
• shared basics: bobble stitch, kitchener stitch, stuffing tips
• three limb options: tiny bobble arms and feet, long silly limbs, or a holder/hugger arm that can carry a flower, a twig or a tiny note
• embroidery charts for carrie’s patches
good to know
• worked in the round on two parallel needles (DPNs or magic loop), starting with judy’s magic cast-on and closing with kitchener stitch
• no sewing of separate pieces – arms and feet grow straight out of the body
• gauge doesn’t matter, any yarn works – different yarn, different-sized folks
• difficulty: adventurous beginner
• the bundle costs as much as two single patterns
you can add a bead inside so your farm folk has a tiny heart to find with your fingers – a small detail that turns it into a worry buddy.
as always, they don’t need to be perfect. crooked ears, sleepy faces and wild hair are all very welcome on this farm. #nopressurepatterns
