They are a collection of hoods with recipes, various challenge levels, and semi interchangeable parts, inspired by the chilly folks of the Middle Ages.

I chose the theme of Robin Hood for this series as I have always been inspired by its theme of fairness. Robin and his companions take from those who exploit others, not out of greed, but to restore balance. It’s a story not of fighting authority itself, but the abuse of it. It’s a refusal to accept a world where power serves itself instead of the people, and it asks the timeless question: What do we owe one another when those in power forget their duty of care?

I also love that Marian was an equal in the story, skilled, courageous, and independent, which was exceptional in that era.

And lastly, because they run off to live in the woods - a lifelong dream of mine!
