These are great first projects to try working in the round since there is nothing in the knitting to complicate matters. For intermediate knitters, the developing stitch pattern will keep you interested.

Choose a yarn with great stitch definition and a solid colour for best effect. Avoid darker shades if you want to show off the textured zig-zags clearly.

The cowls have been worked at slightly looser than ball band tension, to achieve a drapier fabric.

The patterns are not available separately because you are getting all 3 versions together in this ebook for the price of one of my regular cowl patterns instead. Whilst I could have published them as 3 separate patterns, and asked you to pay 3 times over, I didn’t want to do that: I like my customers to feel that they are getting good value.
