A common refrain from those who think weeds can’t be a menace. And we would agree- weeds can be pretty, but we would rather see them on a hat than in our gardens or native ecosystems.
This book is a collection of eight knitting patterns inspired by weeds. From blackberry and thistles to agapanthus and fennel, weeds of all description feature in colourwork or lace.
Each pattern follows a small essay on the history of the weed and the detrimental impact it has on our native ecosystems.
