I continue exploring crochet cables, this time in a simple, lovely way. This technique appears in Chapter 5 of the New Ways with Crochet book and in my Crochet Cables series.
The Moonwake sweater and Moonflower wrap combine three stitch patterns:
simple crochet cables that stand out beautifully in worsted weight yarn,
rows of gentle eyelets (another new stitch - check it out in this blog post!),
and textured single crochet ribbing ridges between them.
The linen stitch pattern is also used for the sweater’s sleeves and wrap’s top portion.
