This was my holiday project. One ball of yarn, easy enough to pop in a bag, take anywhere, pick up & put down whenever I had half an hour to spare, or hours of long, boring car journey to while away.

The twinkly metallic bits in the yarn are very pretty, but need some concentration as the needles invariably split the yarn.

I discovered that on this size needle the colour repeat makes exactly four triangles, which I hadn’t anticipated. Was hoping for slightly more variation. If I made it again I’d probably take 3 stitches off the triangle size to move the colour changes along a bit. That would also give me enough yarn for 11 triangles instead of the 10 that this one went to. Always keen to maximise my yarn value!

Still love this & I’m going to be wearing it lots this autumn.
