Making up a hat for Dad, to go with the vest. He’s bald and likes to keep the house cool, so he wears a hat indoors much of the time! He likes something very fitted, and indoors, keeps the brim folded up so it doesn’t interfere with his hearing aids. This seems like a pattern that will lend itself to that well.
