Part of a destash project to use up (or sell) yarns I have had for more than 2 years….

I like the garter stitch fabric that Regia Hand Dye Effect produces, I like bias knit shawls, I love the lace on this shawl and I like the blue-green colourway …

Should be all good then :)

I have knit 23 repeats so far. I am going to enlarge the shawl as I did with the other one. I am also trying to find a solution to alter the edging on the short side. I do not like casted on stitches at the tip of the shawl.

I found a solution for not cutting the yarn, however I am not so sure if it will look better this way. Lets just wait and see…

Finished!

I knitted 35 repeats and even without blocking the shawl is huge! More like a stole… It will certainly keep me warm in winter.

Final Note:
Finished blocking. I am very pleased with the result. The fabric Regia Hand Dye Effect produces feels very soft, and you forgive the odd inconsistencies of this yarn.
The shawl blocked out to 76” wide x 28” deep (192 cm x 71 cm).

What I am most proud of though is that I found a way not to cut the yarn at the tip, which I like the look of very much.
