This is a collaborative adventure involving all of the staff at Northfield Yarn.

Laura chose the colors.

C1: Blue
C2: Green
C3: White

Michelle chose the hat design (striped). Hat used 64g of C1 and 54g of C2.

Carrie chose the body design (garter ridges, but with the purl rows in a contrasting color). Body used 126g of C2, 1g of C1, and 1g of C3.

Emma chose the beard design (simple). Beard used 17g of C3.

Brianna chose the nose and arm designs (round and plump). Nose used 6g of C3. Nose & hands stuffed with white polyfill for minimum show-through. Arms used 4g of C3 and 8g of C2. Knitted i-cord around pipe cleaners and yarn tails to give arms more structure and posability.

STUFFING
Used most of a 12oz bag of polyfill stuffing for the hat and upper body because it was the lightest-weight stuffing I had available. For the lower body, inserted a coiled cotton rope bucket slightly smaller than body of gnome for stability and structure. Rolled up a large cotton t-shirt in the bottom of the bucket for weight. Stuffed the rest of the body with yarn scraps.

Gnorm now lives at Northfield Yarn, benevolently guarding all our wool!
