Modifications

I knit size 2.
I SHOULD HAVE KNIT SIZE 1 because I chose to knit with Sandnes Garn Line which is worsted weight.

I decreased 2 stitches every 4th round after the raglan increases at each side of the “braid” down the sides.
For a total of 16 sts decreased. That made my stitch count match the size 1 for the body of the sweater.
The yarn is considered worsted, so if I knit this with Sandnes Garn Line again, I would cast on for a size 1.

Body
I knit the body 7.25 inches instead of 9 inches long.

Short Sleeves Instructions
The pattern does not have instructions for short sleeves. After picking up and knitting the “on hold” sleeve stitches, I knit 1 round, then worked a decrease round. Which was to pattern. My modification was to then knit 6 rounds, do 1 more decrease round. Then knit the ribbing as stated in the pattern. I bound off stitches using the knit 2 tbl, slip new st back to LHN, knit 2 tbl, slip new st back to LHN. Repeat until all stitches are bound off.

Yarn
This is the first time I have knit with the Sandnes Garn Line. It is 53% cotton, 33% viscose and 14% linen. It is now my favorite cotton yarn to knit with. The drape is beautiful. The yarn did not split while I was knitting. I would definitely knit with it again. The price is very reasonable!
