Frogged because it hibernated so long, it got too big for me… what a great problem to have. Don’t think I’ll remake it in a smaller size… the idea of 100% pure wool short sleeved sweater isn’t appealing for North Carolina… Will probably buy some additional coordinating Madinlinetosh yarns and make some kind of Fade Long-sleeved Cardigan - which will be perfect for fall/winter wear.
RIP my Beloved Buttercup!

Modified to incorporate center front panel along with doing neck edge first. (Note the 2 extra garter st rows along the neck.) Original directions call for it to be cast on separately, added after back, tops of sleeves and upper side fronts have been done.
For XXL Cast on 74 (for back and sleeves) + 17 (3/4 of 24 rows right side front) + 50 (center front) + 17 (3/4 of 24 rows left side front) = 158.
Round 1: K,
Round 2: P,
Round 3: K,
Round 4: P along with add markers as directed plus marker on either side of the center front.

In this case picking up by K2tog/P2tog on either side front of 3 of every 4 rows then turning. Should result in a straight line of stitches along the ribbed neckline. Messed up once so I had to frog back, but next I’ll have to figure out how to start the lace panel since original pattern states that there is no additional neckline on lace. I guess I could’ve just done the garter stitches on the back and sides and left that part just cast on. Hmmmm.
6/25/13 - starting lace pattern after making ‘switch’ from “Coral” to “Amber Trinket”; if only I could make the whole sweater from each of the to-die-for colors (as it was, I was lucky to get enough of them for a whole sweater by combining the 5 colors… scoring Tosh is like finding a rare gemstone!) Used variation on color change strategy of Nichole Nehrig’s Colorslide pullover:
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/colorslide (The chart is here in the project pictures - white is color A and blue is color B. Red lines indicate repeat.)
Can’t wait for it to be NOTsummer so I can wear this.
7/4/13 - started color 4 yesterday. Seems like it’s running ‘large’ - as others have said, but I am busty (even for PlusSize) so I won’t complain. I’m getting about 2-1/2 inches per color - and saving some for the sleeves, which I’d like to be at little longer than in the pattern - maybe 1/2 length?
7/10/13 - Fifth (and last) color starting to be incorporated - and a bit of the left sleeve underway (bought a couple of size 4 short circulars - I don’t do well with dpns that large or with ‘magic loop’ - this is a good compromise). “Guesstimating” amount of yarn to leave for knitting on sleeves - stripes probably won’t match exactly, but I’m hoping close enough. Continue to be totally in love with the color variations of this yarn.
7/17/13 - such a slow-poke. Picture update, though.

Frogged. Have lost enough weight that there’s no way this will fit… Maybe a nice gradient cardigan? Colors still waaay cool!
