Colorslide is an ombre or gradient sweater perfect for showing off yarns that offer multiple shades of each color. It could also be done with contrasting colors for a different effect.

This is more of a recipe than a pattern so knowledge of bottom-up sweater construction and how to make modifications to fit your body is helpful. However, if you’ve never modified a sweater to fit you and would like to learn, this could be the project for you! I’ve included detailed notes of what I did to create my sweater and then step-by-step instructions on how to calculate the right size for you. I have an odd affection for knitting math so prepare yourself for plugging in numbers into basic knitting math equations… It could be adjusted to fit any size from baby to adult.
