Late to test knit due to another commitment; but love the fact that it was written for Extra Large Size <3

Using some hand-dyed with Pecan Hull Superwash wool from last year’s dyeing extravaganza.

Uh oh… significant difference between skein #1 & #2 - will re-dye completed beanie tomorrow and see if it evens out.

Tried re-dying but color difference remains… Doesn’t seem as obvious now that it’s dried - and the pattern texture seems to disguise any glaring difference… A success, all around!

Modified the creation of the regular/extended stitches that would be joined with SSK in the next row by wrapping the yarn in the opposite direction (from ‘normal’) - creating two reverse twisted stitches to join with “Knit through the Back Loop” (instead of ssk)… it’s a little fiddly - but I get (very) slightly annoyed at the extra step(s) of Slip, Slip, knit 2 together… Picky Picky Picky.
