Ive wanted to make this for a while, so this is a fun project to be starting!

I went to webs to buy the yarn but they didnt have the rowan cocoon yarn in the colors I needed so I got the valley yarn instead, it looks the same as cocoon, they were right next to each other in the store. Im making the lighter color fox (shown on mini collar in Woodland Knits) but making the bigger stole.

July 2nd 2014 - Unless I encounter a reason later in the pattern I might try to knit the legs in the round if I make it again or make the smaller one. Im not great at finishing and it can ruin a project for me, the less seams the better. Finished body and tail today.

4th - the head is finished. I made the ears, legs and head with size 9 dpns. So they were smaller, just a little bit and it held the stuffing better. It could be because I’m using different yarn.

6th - almost done….. here are my notes. If you want to drape the fox like the picture . I put a leg on the each side of the tail, not like the drawing….and did them on dpns for the whole leg.
