The reason the first blanket was so difficult to start was that I knit only 1 stitch for the spines not 3 as intended per pattern. I think it looks better with the DK to have a stronger spine then with the Sport weight I had for the first blanket.

Hortensie the true colour is seen in the last picture, absolutely stunning.

Before washing the blanket was 120 cm wide, I don’t think it expanded as the first one, that went out to 160 cm, we’ll see once its dry. It’s now 130 cm, so this yarn does not relax like the Blend, good to know.
