Cast on 113 stitches with alternating cable cast on, knit 2 rows flat, before joining in the round knitting the 1st and last stitch together. Knit ribbing to 4cm, changing to 4mm plain knit round. Joined contrast colour to start colourwork.

Used the cast on tail to join the caston row, and row 1, weaving in the end.

Decided to get a bit more length out of the colourwork, so adding an extra 10 rows.
Knit up to row 23 of the chart. May need to dip into a 2nd ball of the Sockmatician.

I have the Hedgerow Fingerless Mitts pattern in my library, will look at swapping the chart for this motif into the mitt pattern for a set.
