Our latest sweater pattern! Broadleaf is a Brioche sweater featuring gorgeous yarn by Spun Right Round. With a classic, cozy fit and exquisite drape it’s beautiful in just about any color combo. It’s also very easily customized and can be knit to suit your fancy in any number of ways: for example the link sample has a brioche front and back with the “RS” Main Color (pink) showing. The autumnal sample has a stockinette back (instructions included with pattern) and is seamed together with the WS (mohair side) showing.

Since the back and front of the sweater are knit flat, then seamed along the sides and shoulder, it is possible for you to get as creative as you feel! One of our testers used different complementary colors for her front & back panels and sewed them together to be able to wear front to back and back to front, depending on her mood.

The sleeves are knit in the round in mohair + sock yarn held together, when both are highly variegated it creates a scrumptious blended watercolor effect.

The foreground (MC) is one strand of sock yarn and the background (CC) is one strand of sock + one strand of mohair held together.
