9/3 - Remembered about it and had to finish the tassel. Overall, an easy hat to make BUT working with this yarn was frustrating for me due to constant breakage. Also, my cast on seems too loose so it will be too big for a newborn.

08/25 - Finished it almost a week ago but still have to block it and add a tassel.

Did not enjoy working with the suggested for this project yarn. I had a hard time casting on. I tried probably 6 times with my usual cast on, but the thread kept breaking off at some point in my casting. So then I went online and found a new way of casting on for the thin thread - lace cast on (or knitted cast on). That worked but the edge turned out a little too loose. Hopefully it gets better after blocking.
I still had three or four thread break offs during knitting which was a little annoying as I wish I could do it without any knots that might irritate my baby’s head when she wears it.
