I made these slippers for a class final project. I added textile electronics to them to make them light your path when you walk in them. For more information about the project idea, please see here:

I changed the pattern to make it more narrow because I have skinny feet. I made the bottoms 2 stitches less wide. Everything else was as written. Felted in my ancient washing machine in hot water. Took 2 agitation cycles and I accidently let it go through rinse and spin dry and they were perfect! I felted them in a zip-top mesh lingerie bag after the knot in my pillowcase kept coming undone.
