Notes

After finishing my Loona with my Advent calendar yarn,
I used the 10 g ball from Dec. 21 for my Rubator socks.

I thought about using the leftover 3 balls double stranded for a headband, but I am currently feeling more like knitting socks, so I will do!

I used the “fake cross stitch” pattern in my Loona as well, so I think this fits.

Finished cuff with plain blue yarn, changed colour in row after the set.-up row for the fake embroidery.

Contrast between blue and teal could be stronger, you can hardly see the cross stitches…

Finished! So this was my exclusive christmas project for 2019 meaning I did not knit on anything else until around 5 p.m. on the second day of christmas.

Did contrasting rows of cross stitches in the second sock to make it stand out better.

Still quite like this short row heel, they fit me quite well and I will probably keep them - I did not knit myself a new pair of socks for quite a while.
