Joined front and back after 8 ridges each, casting on 6 stitches each per underarm. I plan to decrease them in every 2nd row after the ridges for the next 3 ridges.

I am at 8 ridges after the armhole and I really love the Malabrigo yarn for this project - so soft and drapey! Might need to get more of that!

And though I am not sure the muted colours will suit me, I really love how the knitting looks.

Finished! Picked up 68 stitches for arms, knit 20 rows plain, before decreasing 2 stitches every fourth row after that. No purl ridges for sleeves this time, but just stockinette for 20 cm. Then did 1 purl row with 5 mm needles, 1 knit row and I cord bind off.

Did the body for 16 ridges again. Attached an Icord at the neck after finishing the body. It is a pity I did not have more of the green yarn, would have been lovely for the sleeves as well.

So I did the sleeves in a light grey cotton sock yarn -ok, but not ideal.

Okay, looks like an attached Icord does not provide the same stability as an Icord cast on - I might add a row of slip stitch crochet around the neck as it seems to be a bit on the wide side.

I did not wear this even a single while - it sat in my dressing room for the 8 month after completion, so I frogged it today and currently I plan to use it for my Penguono »
