Decided to use the frogged yarn from this » and this » project which will make this mainly grey-cream-blueish-neutral. Currently I plan to use a brighter blue-ish sockyarn once in a while for some extra “pop”

Gnaaaa - decided that the welts are a pain….
So I only did one as given in the pattern, using the Malabrigo yarn single, but with 5 mm needles.
Then I joined the light grey cotton sockyarn and did 5 rows of plain reverse stockinette, 2 rows of stockinette twice.
Then I bound off the stitches at the beginning - I do not mind picking up stitches and I would get nuts when having all the waste yarns dangling around.

Aaaaaah! Finally realized that element 6 (the narrow side element) is knit HORIZONTALLY and attached to the vertical part with K2tg!

Bound of the body after a total of app. 57 cm with an Icord in a medium grey mystery yarn (6 ply sockyarn, maybe?)
Picked up for the sleeve, using the Meilenweit Bamboo and the Aldi light blueish-purple sock yarn held together.

Started sleeve one in the round with 49 stitches in seed stitch. Want to do at least 3/4 length sleeves, will probably not decrease significantly as they are on the tight side.

Finished 1st sleeve, picked up for second. 49 stitches is a bit on the tight side already, so I did not do any decreases and I plan to maybe do 51 or 53 stitches for the second.

Finished side panel integration in 2nd sleeve and started working in the round. Ran out of the pale natural bamboo yarn, continued with the light grey cotton sockyarn together with the purple sockyarn.

Finished Icord on second sleeve - now just picking up for front bands and then weaving in a gazillion of ends…
