Finished part 2 after 20 purl ridges, now to part 3.

Removed markers when starting part 4, I think it is easy enough to see where to k2tg without markers.

Switched to purl 2 tgth after a while as it is easier. This gives a knit ridge on the other side, but I think I quite like the look of that.

Should have knit a little longer to cover the spine.

Used a single crochet bind-off on the top with a 3.5 mm hook.

Did a “button” with 6 sc, 12 dc in the ring, and then did a 25 chain to close it at the top.

I think this will be a one-time thing. Though the construction was interesting, I found it difficult to guess how much “strech” to caltulate to fit the book.

I think it is a little too tight and will try a crochet version instead.
So I will add on some rounds in seed stitch for the top
