Quite a while since I last knit with 2.5 mm needles, but the Nord yarn is quite thick, so I switched to those a little into the second dark stripe and decreased 2 stitches each side.

Used a jogless stripe method as shown here » (first method shown)

Was inspired by the colors and the stripe sequence of Kay’s Beetlejuice Mitts, but I think I will not have enough left from the dark yarn to do all of the stripes.

Ended up with 3 dark stripes for the leg, doing the heel and the contrast stripes for the foot in orange.

According to this project » I will probably need 6 contrast stripes for the foot. At the moment I think I will do 5 in orange, the last one in dark teal again and then the toe in orange, with one or two rounds in green in there.

Finished first sock.
Ended up doing 4 stripes in orange, one again in dark blue, 2 rows of neon green and then my usual toe.

October 6, 2025

Finished 4 orange stripes in the foot and one dark teal stripe. Now just one more stripe and then the toe!
