Using handspun wool, 20g samples from Fibreholics, that I have accumulated since the start, and didn’t quite know what to do with.
The finished shawl weighed in at 1,050 kg (2314.85 ib)
6 increases per alternate row = shape which drapes over shoulders
1st row
Knit 3, yon, k1,yon, knit to middle three stitches, yon, k3, yon, knit to last 4 stitches, yon, k1, yon. Knit 3.
2nd row, knit all stitches.
Knit casting on 6 stitches each row until approximate 500 stitches.
Lovely wool + beautiful colours + simple progress pattern = bank holiday comfort knitting :-)
