Traditional tie/work shawl in the Nordic tradition; all garter stitch with a unique crocheted edging, and ties on the ends so that you can cross the ends across your chest and tie in back around your waist to keep the ends out of the way.

This shawl also works well as a stash-buster, using leftover balls of yarn.
