A lovely test knit for Caroline. Pattern is very straightforward and the beautiful lace pattern is very straightforward and easy to remember.

I knit the 56 stitch sock and as I usually knit 64 I thought I’d go up a needle size to 2.5. I needn’t have, which says more about my foot size than the pattern. So that’s good knowledge for my next sock project - I may well knit a 56 stitch sock next time.

Knit using an old skein of Flourish Fibres but I can’t remember the colourway name.
