3/21/10: I finished the add on and casted off during my break at work. I ended up adding 4 more repeats for a total of 20. I was thinking of adding 5, but I was running out of yarn and didn’t want to wind the second skein for just a small section. I ordered a set of blocking wires so I plan on using those to block it. Whenever they get in.

3/16/10: Well even though I doused it in water before heading to work, the shawl was completely dry when I got home 4 hours later. Sweet.

Size verdict: It covers my tattoo, but barely and only if it sits in one position. So I’m thinking I might undo the cast off and add a few more repeats of Chart B. I already did one extra, so I may only add on 2 or 3. Or maybe I’ll do 4 for a total of 20 repeats instead of 15. I know I have enough yarn.

I will say though, the points turned out awesome. I love shawls with pointy edgings!

3/15/10: Finished knitting, but I’m not sure if its going to be as big as I want. Going to see how big it gets when blocked and go from there. Think I might have to undo the cast off and add more Chart B repeats.

3/10/10: Picture from when I finished the first 5 of the 15 repeats for chart B. Currently half way through the next 5.

2/22/10: Ordered yarn on the 19th, received today. (TLE, awesome as always) Wound yarn and cast on. Chart A already finished. This week might be good when it comes to knitting time.
