KAL with Josiane (Josian1979)

Requires 390 - 410 yards (357 - 375 m).

My notes to remember how I did it:
To keep cast on edge from pulling too tightly, I cast on with a size US 9 needle. I bound off with a size US 7 needle.

V - sl 1 wyb (sl 1 purlwise with yarn in back)

V - sl 1, k4tog, psso—4 sts dec’d (sl 1 knitwise…)

~ - place bead: Slide bead onto crochet hook, insert crochet hook pwise into st and sl st onto crochet hook, slide bead down hook onto st, then return st to left needle and k1

sssk - slip 3 sts kwise individually, then knit them tog tbl—2 sts dec’d

2/8/15 The first yarn I chose (KnitPicks Alpaca Cloud) was too fuzzy for the detail in this shawl. I decided to go with another yarn.

2/15/15 Starting over, again! I decided to order some magatama beads for this project, instead of using what I had on hand.

9/26/15 I’ve been working on this project again after several months of hibernation. I have 16 repeats done, and about 5 more beads left until I have to go hunting through my boxes from moving to find the rest. I’m considering buying another container. Now, where did I get them from?
